Anna & Mike 03.12.11 | Maryland Wedding Photographer
Close to a year ago, I got an email from Mike, a student I’d had in my class during one of the semesters that I taught an Education Foundations class at Salisbury University. Mike told me that he was engaged, and that he and his fiance wanted me to photograph their wedding. That wedding happened yesterday – it was my first of 2011, and I was very excited! I traveled about 2 1/2 hours to the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The weather was perfect, and the venue was amazing (thanks to the owners and the amazing coordinator, Chasi).
I got to see a few cool things I hadn’t seen before, at this wedding. One was their guest registry – a tree on which their guests were asked to use a stamp pad to make a green leaf thumbprint, and sign their names. The tree had two owls perched on it – one in pink, and one in blue. I even left my thumbprint, at the request of the groom. The other thing I hadn’t seen before was a bouquet like Anna’s – made completely of white daffodils. There had to be three dozen of them (maybe more)! The bouquet and all the centerpieces were arranged by Laurie of Ann’s Garden – she did a fabulous job.
Here are a few of my very favorite shots. Click on the collage to see the rest of the 75 preview images!
